To Wash Or Not To Wash

We washed. Everything. Including the car.

It was another lazy day. The original plan was to drive straight through to Salt Lake City but we wanted to break up the drive. We chose a great hotel to laze around in. There were shops and restaurants within walking distance, the rooms were big with a separate sitting area, and the laundry had more than 1 machine in it. We had also managed to acquire more shopping today. My parents have a killer instinct to hunt down $3 bargains, and the whole family just gets sucked into the buying frenzy. They also managed to find a 20% off voucher. God bless them.

So a short post it is this evening as we pack up our winter gear and ready ourselves for 4 days of 30 degrees sunshine at Disneyland!

  1. I don't understand why you are washing the car & buying it new shoes. Isn't it a rental car?

  2. Yes its a rental car. They paid for the shoes. As for the wash, it was easier to do it than argue with my mother...In seriousness, it was filthy because of the off road driving and rain. In the fine print, there was a $200 cleaning charge if the car was extremely dirty.
