Today marked the beginning of our Disney Odyssey. On the agenda, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disney's Aulani Resort in Honolulu and last but not least, a cruise on the Disney Wonder from Honolulu back home to Sydney. All of it KID FREE. Fortunately for us, it was a relatively uneventful day. We arrived in Tokyo safely and the transfer to Tokyo Hilton Bay was also relatively straightforward even with Terminal changes. The Hilton Tokyo Bay Hotel is quite a nice hotel with beautiful spaces. Of note, they offer a discount at their restaurants to Hilton members... the higher the status, the greater the discount. Given that we are still hanging on to our Diamond status (something good had to come out of Covid), we received the maximum 25% discount. Fresh Connection is worthwhile mentioning. You can preorder while at the parks and pick up for consumption of a relatively healthy dinner in your room. Prices were very reasonable. There was also a minimart (Lawson) with an ATM near the lobby which was handy.
We stayed at the Miracosta at our last two visits so this was a new experience. Malcolm did a recon run at the monorail to ensure we weren't derailed in our plans for tomorrow morning! We were then ready to crash.
As usual, if you are interested in Malcolm's musings, here is a link to his trip report on FindPenguin https://findpenguins.com/80tbgmubyiyed/trip/disney-sea
