It was lovely to sleep in until 715am…There was no longer
any point trying to pretend to sleep. We dressed the children and headed for
breakfast at Royal Court. On offer were various favourites of the family. We
had our fill of eggs benedict, bircher muesli, cream of wheat and waffles
before attending the non-denominational service.

The rest of the day seemed to be a bit of a blur. I was
rather slack with the camera leaving it behind on occasions. It was nice not to
have to lug the weight around at times but at others I wished I had. So I will
thank my fellow cruisers ahead of time for letting me use their footage.
One of the highlights of our day was dining at Remy, the
French specialty restaurant onboard. We had difficulty securing reservations of
greater than 2 and couldn’t get them at the same time despite trying to book
them the minute to online. Malcolm and Jason did a great job securing the
private room for 15 of us. The room was usually where the presentation are made
for brunch, but a special concession was made for us. We couldn’t believe how
lucky we were. Mr Sweet Talk had definitely earnt his keep! The room was a
recreation from the movie right down to the chandelier and the view of the
kitchen that Remy had. It was beautiful. Most of the wait staff were French and
the experience was exquisite. The head chef, Benoit, came out to talk us
through the dishes, and this was followed by an explanation of the optional
accompanying matched champagne set. The food was superb. Be sure to be on the
lookout for Remy and the wine labels from John Lasseter’s Napa vineyard…

I had designated my afternoon to be spent ogling Chris
Hemworth in 3D. Alas, I had to abandon Thor the Dark World at the behest of
Lara who requested to be picked up from the Kids Club. Darn those wavephones!
