Milford Sound

Unfortunately due to the weather, Dunedin was completely abandoned. The ship had to be rerouted. Whilst it was disappointing, there wasn't much we could about it such is the nature of the Ocean! We did finally make it to Milford sound and it was a relief to be in calmer waters for most of the group. The scenery was stunning!

Somewhere On the Way To New Zealand

We are somewhere on the Pacific Ocean on our way to New Zealand. The ocean has gotten pretty rough with high winds. Much of the outdoor areas have been closed and half the travel crew have been wiped out with sea-sickness. Here are photos of the troopers left standing...

Hobart

We were off on our first port of call, Hobart! With 2 minivan rentals, the extended family spent the day at Bruny Island. We won't talk about how the Murakamis nearly missed the boat because they spent too long at the whisky place...
